FAMILY WEEKEND ABC HOUSE 10/2025 – IN MOTION
The seasons are changing, birds are migrating to warmer countries, the autumn wind is blowing through our hair, the earth’s clock is ticking… so it’s about time to get the new ABC studio up and running. And that’s just what we’re doing with a dynamic family weekend!
Tie your tap dance shoes and oil your joints, because the whole house is all about movement.
We will start with gentle warm-up exercises, rubbing, stretching, and bending our fingers, leaving large traces with rotating arms and shoulders, then we will hula hoop or try out a dance bag.
Once you’re up and running, you can fold rockets, spin tops, play giant Mikado, or build a marble run. No problem if you come to a standstill, our self-invented automata will take over the movement for you.

No registration required, except for the Line Dance workshop.

Line Dance Workshop
Country Line Dance is a mix of all kinds of music and dances from the Wild West.
Jules will teach you to shake your legs like never before.

Kite-making workshop
An open workshop where you will learn about different kite traditions and then get to work making your own kite.
In collaboration with Museums of Belgium

Kamishibai storytelling
Those who prefer to dream away quietly can come and listen to Kamishibai stories from all corners of the world.
You will find our storytellers on their bike at Place Gaucheret or in the kamishibai room in the ABC house.

October 4 and 5, various sessions
