Fais-moi signe. Le langage secret des artistes – LaM / Ferme d’en Haut Villeneuve d’Ascq

The museum LaM – Lille Métropole Musée d’art moderne, d’art contemporain et d’art brut – near Lille (Fr) is currently under renovation. As part of the LaM Vagabonde season, the museum works at different locations in the area.
At the Ferme d’en Haut in Villeneuve- d’Ascq, in the exhibition Fais-moi signe, you can discover a selection from the museum’s collection.
For the occasion, ABC developed a new studio in which young and old can playfully work on the different aspects of the artistic creation process and the artists’ language.
Writing, calligraphy, painting, lines, typography, signs and symbols, visual poetry, visual music, and bookbinding are just some of the themes covered.
Make your own brush, tell a new version of Little Red Riding Hood’s fairy tale, search for traces or create your own, invent your personal alphabet or secret script, and discover the power of shapes and colors.
In the library you will find a wide selection of books and kamishibai stories from the ABC collection.
