A studio full of visual activities and fun for children of all ages.
Not everything is what it seems… Marvel at an extensive collection of optical toys, objects and materials and take a peek at the fascinating world of artistic imagination. Discover the three dimensions in the perspective diorama boxes by Samuel Van Hoogstraaten, the depth effect in the Roto reliefs by Marcel Duchamp, take a look at distorted Anamorphosis drawings using a magical mirror or lose yourself in the large collection of seek-and-find images.
In the workshop area, you can start making your own Kaleidoscope, Thaumatrope, flip book or spiral spinning top, or design mosaic patterns inspired by the Tessellated drawings by M.C. Escher.
A thematic collection of books supports the voyage of discovery and invites everyone to do further investigation.
