ABC HOUSE WEDNESDAY WORSHOP FOR YOUNGSTERS 2026-2027

Theme 1: Game Design
14/10, 21/10, 28/10, 18/11 and 25/11/2026

Imagine: you start with a simple problem. The fridge is empty.
Level 1: The supermarket is on the other side of town. You have to navigate through traffic, dodge obstacles, outsmart sneaky crooks, and find creative ways to make money.
Level 2: Not only do you have a goal, but you also have to make sure none of your friends get discouraged during the adventure.

When developing a game, you start with a simple concept and build your own universe from there. You create landscapes, characters, a plot, and rules to tell a story that players can discover and experience for themselves.
Want to create your own board game?
We play analog games, sketch on paper, build with wood, mold with clay, and make our game board out of fabric and stones.
Logical thinking, teamwork, winning, and losing are all part of the experience.

Theme 2: DANCE! Otherwise we are lost!*
06/01, 13/01, 20/01, 27/01 and 03/02/2027

Move, express yourself, dance!
Sometimes it’s a song that makes your foot tap, a rhythm that stirs something inside you, or a feeling that wants to come out of your body.
And sometimes you have no idea how to start dancing and you stand stiff as a board in a corner.
After a guided warm-up, we invite you to move freely together.
Dancing the way you tie your shoelaces—effortlessly and naturally, without thinking too much about it.
We dance to be together, not to put on a performance or learn steps.
We use our bodies as a compass to sketch out a dance, like a pencil used to tell a story.

Theme 3: Create your own chair
14/04, 21/04, 28/04, 05/05 and 12/05/2027

Are you looking for the perfect chair for your room, living room, or patio?
In this module of the teen workshop, we’ll explore the world of seating furniture.
Functional office chairs, ergonomic design classics, or modular corner sofas. A cozy piece of seating that makes you feel safe and comfortable, made from sustainable wood or recycled materials? Can your chair roll, skate, or walk, like the chair collection by artist La Ribot?

We’ll explore different ways of sitting from around the world, discover the designs of Le Corbusier and the Eames, and explore various woodworking techniques.
Inspired by Papanek and his *Nomadic Furniture Books*, we’ll then get to work designing and building our own chair.
