Thanks to the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, The ING Cultural Centre and the Belgian Royal Museums of Fine Arts have organised an exhibition of some 120 paintings, images, sculptures and drawings that highlight the work of Miró, as well as testify to the importance he attached to the relationship between poetry and painting.

Within the context of the exhibition, ABC developed a number of stations where both children and adults can immerse themselves in the life of Miró, his environment, his inspirations, his palette and his artistic style. A “Miróglyph book” contains the pictograms used by the artist and the symbols he uses as metaphors. In “Miró’s dream studio” you can get to work with found objects and all kinds of inspiring materials. Constellation drawings, paintings, collages, sculptures and prints, create a wall mosaic or make your own poetic “artist book”…
