ABC huis-VITRINES
In het ABC-huis hebben we vier vitrine-kasten geïntegreerd, twee op het gelijkvloers en twee op de eerste verdieping. Daarin tonen we één keer per trimester nieuwe alfabet-boeken, beelden of objecten uit de ABC-collectie die extra aandacht verdienen. Onze ‘coup de coeurs’ van dat moment. In de vitrines op het gelijkvloers exposeren we creatieve werken van kinderen (gemaakt tijdens één van de ABC-projecten), en opmerkelijk vormgegeven speelgoed. In de kijkkasten op de eerste verdieping tonen we de A, B & C-pagina’s uit een oud of nieuw alfabet-boek, en inventieve realisaties met papier of bijzondere grafische ontwerpen.
Uit elk van deze vitrines zie je hier een beeld, als smaakmaker en ter inspiratie.

ROYAL PET / A Japanese company called “Senshukai” sold these wooden animals in the late 1960’s.
The collection was called “Royal Pet” and sold one animal at a time by a monthly mail order subscription. These animals were inspired by Danish modern wooden animals (like the teak animal figurines designed by Hans Bolling, Kay Bojesen, etc.) and handcrafted by Japanese “Kokeshi” (traditional Japanese wooden dolls) craftsmen.
